Job Title: Store Manager

Job Description:
Monday Swimwear is seeking a passionate, driven, and people-oriented Store Manager to help prepare for the opening of our first flagship store. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-first mindset, and a deep understanding of premium fashion retail. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations, driving sales performance, cultivating an exceptional client experience, and embodying the Monday Swimwear brand values. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire a team, maintain impeccable store standards, and build lasting customer relationships while meeting business goals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, laying the foundation for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Store Launch & Setup:

  • Work closely with the Director of Operations on the opening of the first retail store, including layout setup, staffing, merchandising, and system implementation
  • Oversee installation and integration of Shopify POS system, ensuring smooth operational functionality
  • Establish in-store processes, operational standards, and brand-aligned customer service protocols

Team Leadership & Training:

  • Recruit, interview, and hire a full team of sales associates
  • Develop and execute onboarding and training programs focused on luxury service, product knowledge, and sales techniques
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the team to exceed performance goals and maintain a culture of excellence

Customer Experience & Sales:

  • Deliver and uphold an elevated, personalized customer experience in line with our luxury standards
  • Cultivate lasting client relationships through superior service and follow-up
  • Drive sales and build client loyalty through in-store experiences, CRM, and clienteling strategies

Operations & Performance:

  • Manage daily store operations including inventory, visual merchandising, and POS reporting
  • Monitor KPIs and team performance, providing actionable feedback and development plans
  • Partner with Director of Operations weekly to review sales, restocks, returns, inventory levels, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and visual standards

Strategic Growth & Development:

  • Actively contribute ideas to improve customer experience, operations, and team performance
  • Identify and develop high-potential team members for leadership roles
  • Participate in planning future store expansions and new location strategies

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a luxury or high-end retail environment
  • Proven track record of building and leading successful retail teams
  • Experience with POS systems (Shopify experience preferred) and retail operations
  • Passionate about creating personalized, memorable customer experiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment
